Your journey begins with a direct flight from Los Angeles to Papeete, the vibrant capital of French Polynesia. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the in-flight entertainment as you make your way to paradise.
Upon arrival in Papeete, you’ll be transferred to the Te Moana Tahiti Resort, your home away from home for the next six nights. Ideally positioned on the western coast of Tahiti Island, in the charming city of Punaauia, this stunning resort is within minutes of the popular diving and snorkeling site known as the Lagoonarium and is approximately 10 minutes from historic Papeete. Start your days with a delicious breakfast included in your package, savoring a variety of local and international dishes. Spend your days lounging on the white-sand beach, snorkeling in the turquoise waters, or indulging in spa treatments at the Hononui Wellness Centre.
Embark on a full-day adventure as you join an Authentic Moana Lagoon Excursion. Cruise the pristine lagoon aboard a traditional Polynesian outrigger canoe, stopping at various coral gardens and motus (small islets). Make your way to Los Angeles International Airport for your overnight flight to Papeete. Add-on fares available from other US cities, please ask for details.
Arrive in Papeete where you’ll be greeted and transferred to Te Moana Tahiti Resort for your six night stay.
Travel by ferry from Papeete to Moorea where you will enjoy an exciting day exploring the island paradise. glide between sandy bays and glittering lagoons on this 5.5-hour boat cruise, including hotel pick-up. Dive into the crystalline waters of Cook’s Bay or Opunohu Bay, and swim among friendly stingrays and blacktip reef sharks. Drop anchor on a deserted island and enjoy a delicious Tahitian-style picnic lunch (included), then enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the idyllic Moorea Lagoon. Return to Papeete by ferry.
Embark on an exciting adventure along Tahiti’s “Traversière” route, the only dirt road connecting the East and West coasts through lush mountains. Your journey begins in the historic Papenoo valley, linked to the Bounty mutineers. Travel up the valley, crossing rivers and passing by natural pools. Throughout the trip, your knowledgeable guide will point out valley landmarks, sharing their history and legends. Highlights include visits to Topatari, Vaiharuru, and Puraha waterfalls, the Ponaroa power station, and the Tahiti crater. In the heart of the jungle, enjoy a brief lunch stop at the Maroto restaurant. Don’t forget to capture stunning photos and take refreshing dips in the natural pools along the way.

Today is free to relax and catch up on some last minute shopping before you transfer back to the airport for your return journey to Los Angeles for your overnight flight, arriving Day 8.
