Thursday - Sunday Day 1, 2 & 3 – Papeete to Bora Bora
Arrive into Papeete and transfer by flight to the beautiful island of Bora Bora.
You will spend 3 nights at the gorgeous Intercontinental Thalasso Resort and Spa.
Sunday Day 4 – Bora Bora
Transfer back to Bora Bora Airport by 3pm. Helicopter transfers from the airport are scheduled at 3:30pm. You will be landing on the heli-deck where your crew will greet you with champagne and nibbles. After the Captain’s welcome, crew introductions and safety briefing you will have time to relax and settle in before dinner is served. You will remain inside the lagoon for a comfortable sleep at anchor.
Monday Day 5 – Bora Bora to Raiatea
There is time for a swim off the ship and breakfast before you will up anchor, head west through the reef entrance and onto the island pair of Taha’a and Raiatea. Lunch is served as you enter the lagoon at Herepiti Bay on the southwest side of Taha’a on the way to visit Champon Pearl farm where you can dive for your own pearl. You are docked alongside at Uturoa, the main centre in Raiatea overnight. Relax on board or take an evening stroll ashore after dinner.
Tuesday Day 6 – Raiatea to Huahine
After breakfast you have time to visit the local shops and the shell market before departing for a guided island history, Marae and Faaroa River tour. Be entertained as you see the eastern lagoon and wind up the tiny Faaroa River, Tahiti’s only “navigable river”. After lunch you can try some fishing off the stern while you cruise to Teapaa Bay on Huahine in time for sunset.
Wednesday Day 7 – Huahine
A relaxing morning, after breakfast you will be tendered ashore to explore Teapaa Beach where you will have time to swim, snorkel, paddle board, kayak or explore the shoreline. Lunch is served on board. A snorkeling trip is on offer before moving to Haapu Bay for the evening where you will be entertained by a cultural group with Tahitian singing and dancing.
Thursday Day 8 – Huahine to Taha’a
Fishing off the stern as you depart Huahine for the short 20-mile passage to Taha’a. Lunch will be served once inside the Eastern Reef. You’ll visit an organic vanilla plantation before cruising the northern shores where many motu’s surround the main island before your special overnight anchorage. An amazing photo opportunity, one of those “bucket list” items to check off your list,
with the islands in the foreground and the sun setting over the towering peaks of Bora Bora in the distance.
Friday Day 9 – Taha’a to Bora Bora
Breakfast is served on deck before the crew host a coral garden snorkeling expedition. Drift with the current passing coral formations and abundant fish life. You are repositioned to the south west of Taha’a for lunch before exiting the reef system for the 3-hour journey into the Bora Bora lagoon. Relax on board or head ashore with the Captain to the famous Bloody Mary’s Bar for happy hour before returning to the ship for the Captain’s dinner.
Saturday Day 10 – Bora Bora
A shark and ray excursion has been organized this morning. Alternatively you can simply relax on the ship. Enjoy lunch and some water sport activities off Toopu Island before a final snorkeling excursion this afternoon. This evening there will be a crew-hosted farewell BBQ under the stars.
Sunday Day 11 – Bora Bora
Breakfast is served on deck before you are tendered to Vaitape ferry terminal at 9.00am for your flight to Papeete. Enjoy Papeete before your flight home this evening.
